Notes: Sorry, kinda long. But I wasn't sure how much was needed to set up what was coming. This is very much canon, but won't happen for a couple of generations yet. I keep going back to this character's story because, besides the current generation, it's the one I'm definitely, absolutely, positively sure how it's going to play out from start to end and I've got it all outlined. This scene will give you a wee bit more insight into the situation (that I've hinted at in prompts from the last two years of Myshuno), though not a full disclosure. I've got to keep something for the chapters! D: Spoilers ahoy.

As a peace offering I come bearing a small picspam. I know it's taking me forever to get to this freakin Egyptian legacy story, and I've got a million excuses WHY it's taking so long but I'll save that for another time.

Now that the first generation kids (or are they considered the second generation? I could never get that straight) are becoming adults, I've got the neighborhood set up on a rotation schedule. I managed to play through several rotations a few months ago, so here's a very quick update of what's going on there right now...

I don't have time at the moment to write, so I'm confessing to a copy/paste of something I wrote over a year ago. When I saw the prompt I remembered this scene from my Egyptian legacy. And really, this only vaguely fits the prompt. :P Anyway, this is directly from the story, and a pivotal moment for the characters involved. It's a MAJOR SPOILER! But maybe by the time I actually get this scene staged, you all will have forgotten it. e__e It's written to correspond with a storyboard, so that's why it's formatted like it is. And this is only part of this scene. I don't want to spoil TOO much.

Warning: This mildly alludes to sexual situations. But it's plenty safe for work and all that.

This will be all done once I know who the heir is and I can play them to adulthood! All the kids are teens now, and what follows is 4 or 5 Sim days worth of me alternating between rolling my eyes and having an anxiety attack.

I was able to pull another all-nighter (or an up-til-3-AM-er) and I've got the last generation of kids mostly all to teen. I know some of them were still in diapers in the last update! But I figure at this rate I'll be through with this challenge by the end of the weekend. So expect this to move fast!

I've got to move out of state sometime in the next month and that requires doing a lot of stuff that takes a lot of time (including finding a place to LIVE) so I need to get this done while I can. And I am vowing not to start another challenge until I make the CC I need for my Egyptian legacy! >_<

In my marathon 15+ hour play session last week I managed to actually get Edna to adulthood (SPOILER: she didn't die!). So here is the entirety of her teen days in 70-ish pictures. If you missed part 2.3 that I posted last night, go see that first! Otherwise most of this won't make any sense. Actually, most of this might not make any sense anyway. :P

The last time we were here it was time for the second heir poll. The six candidates ranged from a teen who is less than a day away from turning adult, to a baby who had only been a toddler for less than a day, and all ages in between. The results weren't even close in the end!

I'm afraid I played at a blistering pace and have come to a point where I need to know who the next heir is already! Since this whole generation felt disjointed due to me not playing it for half a year, now I just want to get to generation 3 so I can sort of start "fresh" again. So prepare yourselves for a whirlwind update that covers a LOT of birthdays!

I hadn't realized how long it's been since I last played this! :O SIX MONTHS. This morning I was feeling the urge to play SOMETHING even if my legacy is kinda on hold until I get the time to make more clothes and hair, and I just can't stage any scenes until everyone has their own hair and outfit. (Though you'll likely see some behind the scenes picspam really soon.) I opened the TPC storytelling folder to kinda take stock of what's there before I opened the game and realized there are about a hundred photos from the last time I played it! So UPDATE TIME. :D

If you need a refresher, click here to read the first update from generation two where things were just getting started. The founder and his wife passed away, while their son Bodean and his wife Nikki were just starting to have kids of their own. The first was a son named Rocky, followed by a(n illegitimate) daughter named Marigold, who was just an infant at the end of the update.
