Prompt:  Never say never.  (from [livejournal.com profile] lauriempress)
Rating:  Everyone.
Word Count:  390

When I get older, losing my hair... )

My Card

This gives me a Myshuno!  YAY!
fuzzyspork: (Default)
Prompt:  "Beware the crocodiles!"  (from [livejournal.com profile] docnerd)
Rating:  Everyone. (maybe a tiny bit scary)
Word Count:  164
Notes:
If you've seen any of my 1st generation pic spam you might recognize the names of these brothers.  Spoiler ahoy.

You're supposed to tie it on before you toss it over, silly. )

My Card

fuzzyspork: (Default)
Prompt:  A grand feast.  (from [livejournal.com profile] biglenny)
Rating:  Everyone.
Word Count:  760
Notes:  From my Egyptian legacy. You saw this character's name in a Myshuno prompt I wrote last year.  :)

It looked like pig slop, but it was done... )

My Card
fuzzyspork: (fuzzy spork)
Prompt: Coming of age.  (from [livejournal.com profile] rosefyre)
Rating: Teen (for nudity, if written words even count as such) e__e
Word Count: 495
Notes: This is very spoilery!  It's from my Egyptian legacy and will be extremely significant to the story.  I tried to be vague about who the "him" is anyway.  :P

Young lady! Show some decorum! )
fuzzyspork: (Default)
Prompt:  Gwen meets Olie's *other* wife.  (from [livejournal.com profile] regacylady)
Rating:  Everyone.
Word Count:  522
Notes:  This is an extra prompt that will count as my "writer's choice" spot in the center of the game card.  Or, as I've been calling it, "Cait's Choice".  XD  The characters are Gwen from the Regacy, and Delalli (simself) from my OWBC.
Totally AU and just for fun.

Have a seat and wait for your number to be called... )

My Card
fuzzyspork: (Default)
Prompt:  So...many...daughters...  (from [livejournal.com profile] smoothiesims)
Rating:  Everyone.
Word Count:  495

My Card
fuzzyspork: (Default)
Prompt:  Put the cat in charge. (from [livejournal.com profile] hbcirce)
Rating:  Teen  (for mischievous references to certain body parts)
Word Count:  348
Notes:  These are characters from my Egyptian legacy. This scene may or may not appear in the story.

It's an enviable talent is what it is... )

My Card
fuzzyspork: (Default)
Prompt: What did you put into these dates? (from [livejournal.com profile] joandsarah)
Rating: Mature.  (Warning: brief language, violence, implied sexuality, crudity)
Word Count:  1330
Notes: This is written in first person narrative, and I rather suck at it.  But it was necessary in this case to avoid using the name of the POV character because I don't want to spoil the story before this situation actually plays out in my legacy.  Be warned, this is drama (written at 4 AM this morning... jet lag, gah) and touches on some things that some of you might find squiffy.  And I must emphasize that there will be NO incest in my legacy!  Marriage for political reasons does not necessarily mean marriage for procreation, and when siblings are acting as co-regents they are usually in a political marriage.  That said...

I’ve yet to meet a man I cannot manipulate... )

I'm finally back home in the states and now I'm sliding in here at the last second with my completed Myshuno card!  I got a bunch of really great prompts.  Thanks everyone!

BEHOLD THE THING )
fuzzyspork: (Default)
I'm back!  Though I should be doing almost anything else right now.  >_>  BUT, I realized I had a couple hundred photos in the storytelling folder that aren't posting themselves, so it falls back on me to do it.  Dangit.

Rules for this challenge can be found HERE.  It's still a work in progress!  If you are playing along, suggestions are welcome. :)

CRAPPY COMMENTARY COMMENCING )

This is the public pool I made for my Trailer Park Challenge families to go to on days when they can't afford to shop at Walmart or they just need to get out of the trailer for a few hours.  But it's certainly good enough for any neighborhood!

CUT! Print it... )

This is going to be a fast mass of pic spam just to get from point A (my new heir being chosen) to point B (my new heir actually becoming an adult some THIRTEEN SIM DAYS later).

WARNING: half a bottle of wine wrote this )

This is likely to change and get added to as more people help me play-test this challenge!  But this is a start, anyway, for those who want to keep score.  :)
Your score starts at zero. )

Suggestions are welcome!

More shenanigans from the Hicks family!  This is the Trailer Park Challenge if you are just joining us here.  I'm doing this mostly as a way to play-test the rules.  And also because it's just plain fun.  ;D  Parts one, two and three are at those links if you need catchin' up to do.

Never count your chickens before they hatch! )

Time for more redneck adventures!  If you are just now tuning in, here's Part One and Part Two.  This is the Trailer Park Challenge and you can find the rules HERE.

Let's git goin'!

I'm just gonna pick up where I left off last time. )

Points post! Go there to see how to score your challenge, if you like to keep track of that sort of thing.

This is a work in progress! Expect much editing. )

If you need a Walmart type store for your challenge, you can find several at MTS at this link, and the one I built for my challenge is HERE for download.  Or build your own!  ;D

This is the Trailer Park Challenge, or...  Livin' la Vida Redneck?  Still working on trying to come up with a good title for this challenge.  (though now that I've just thought of it, I really kinda like LLVR!)  Anyway, I'm just gonna pick up where I left off in part one!

BAYBEE TIEM )

A while back in a late night AIM chat with some of my simming buddies, I stated that "I am totally going to do a trailer park legacy" and then Rose said "DO IT!"  The next several minutes of chat were spent coming up with the most ridiculous set of rules we could think of for a legacy based entirely on trailer-living.  I lost that chat log to the Great Reformat of 2012 but I remembered most of what we had thought up and have finally implemented that idea into an actual real challenge!

*Please keep in mind -before any of you get offended in any way- that I live in rural Alabama.  Everyone I know lives in rural Alabama, and most of my family lives in rural Alabama (though some have ventured as far as rural Tennessee and rural Georgia).  I am very familiar with the type of people the rest of the world calls "rednecks" and everything about the lifestyle.  We even use the label in a self-joking way (see Jeff Foxworthy) and most people I know are not offended by this at all.  (Though the term "stupid redneck" is not okay and you'll get your tires slashed for that one.)

I've been tentatively calling this the Trailer Park Challenge until I come with a better name.  Suggestions welcome!

def. Redneck (n): someone with a glorious lack of sophistication )

I meant to post this last night, but Crap and Things got in the way, so here I am now.  Just a wee tour behind the scenes of my legacy...

As you can see, the place is hardly a bustling metropolis.  I only have two occupied lots so far: the plumbbob on the left is the pharaoh's palace compound and the one on the right is the estate where his brother and sister live.  Otherwise it's just a few empty townhouses and some community lots...

"Wee" meaning 50 photos or so.... )
