This is my first Sim Scenes entry!  I hope it's okay!  I'm really nervous!  *hyperventilate*

 studying - pain - school

--------------------------------------------------------

Hoo boy, I hope it makes sense.  I realized while doing this that I am too much of a perfectionist, and spent three days just looking for all the right little bits of CC junk.  D:

And of course my stupid LJ cut is borked.  Oh well.

First, I am in SRS WANT of your set decorating skills

And I know I said this already but I can't even think of something better to say, the mirror pic is just awesome. :D

Thanks, Caffie. :D

And compliments are always best when repeated. ;D That mirror pic was probably the only one I got right the very first try. lol I'm glad you like it.

That made perfect sense, very well done Fuzzy.

And yeah where did some of that cc come from?
Moar things I don't have! lol. Like those books and glasses beside the bed.

Your houses always look like places real people would live. :D

Thanks, Jo. :D I did spend a little too much time decorating the sets, and only a small fraction of it all was seen. Here's a zoomed out shot of the bedroom. (http://i382.photobucket.com/albums/oo263/fuzzyspork/sim%20scenes/schoolpainstudy00.jpg)

lol Well, the text books came from Club Crimsyn, in "objects" on page 3. Top of the page; the 5 stacked book meshes by Aikea Guinea. (not all are shown in the photo)

The reading glasses are part of this living room set (http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=245213) by crocobaura on MTS. I had to download the whole set just to get the glasses... maybe someone has them available without the furniture, but I didn't take the time to look.

That first one could have been a scene out of my life! Except I could never get my socks to stay up like that. ;)

I really enjoy your work.

lol @ the socks. :D I did base this on some of my own memories... I was a Drama Club Geek in high school. But ended up dating the swim team captain. I didn't have to break my arm to meet him though. ;D

edited: To say thank you! Must remember my manners. lol

Thanks! :D Any "skills" I have in the picture taking department are mostly earned from a lot of practice. I suppose by this point I've taken hundreds of thousands of Sims 2 pictures. O_0

Aw, this was really cute and I think it was very clear on what happened. :)

Thanks, Orikes! :D I realized while doing this, that it's a lot more difficult than I thought it would be to "forget" what I know about the scene and try to see it through new eyes. It was a great exercise! My creative muscles feel well stretched now. heh

That's an excellent way of putting it. "Forget what you know about the scene and see it through different eyes." I'm going to have to use that in giving concrit at some point. :)

This made me smile a ton. :) Your picture taking skills are fantastic. I loved how you could see her body in the mirror in the eighth picture.

Thank you! :D Smiling is good. And I'm a sucker for a happy ending. lol

I'm rather proud of the mirror picture. Though that's a trick that's been used in movies a lot. It's still a great way to show two different perspectives in the same shot.

Yay! Thanks, Jamie! :D You're like the Sim Scenes Pro, so that means a lot to me. I'm not sure I'll be able to do this every week, but I had so much fun constructing the scenes, and working out the nuances.

Thank you, Shadey. :D lol decorating skills... All I do is look around my house and realize everything doesn't sit at a perfect 90 degree angle to everything else. And there's lots of clutter... Wait, I mean, YES I do excel at home decorating! ;D

Thank you! :D It helped that I got a very clear idea of the whole scenario pop into my head when I saw the prompts. And I'm glad I finally got a creative spark. It was fun, I'll have to try this more often.

Hi, just stopped by to check out your LJ. I realize this is an old post I'm commenting on, but I like this post. ;-) This is actually the BEST Sim Scenes I have seen. Just fabulous. I really liked the dog and still life one, too. I am looking forward to seeing more of your work!
