fuzzysporkIT'S DONE. I woke up early this morning and played the last 48 hours of the challenge. I've got to be in the Chattanooga area in the morning to look at some rental properties, so this is going to be a fast-and-dirty update. Expect less than stellar commentary. e__e
(BTW, I had a crap bunch of problems with Photobucket while trying to upload these pictures! So if any of them aren't showing up, I'll get it fixed soon...)

Here's the quintessential lazy approach to a who's-who recap. :P But really, there's only one person there who really matters right now, and that's my heir...
Enolia! Who is still 9 days to adult at this point. And pregnant.
There are still other people around who will continue to be around for a little while. Older brother Earl (the blond on the right) is due to grow up tonight. So that will be one less to keep track of!
Earl was just in the process of kicking over the garbage bin when 6 o'clock arrived. He's also got a big fat fear of growing up badly...
And like so many family members before him, he first has his birthday Therapist visit, then he called a cab and moved out.
Er yeah, I kinda forgot I'm allowed to give Knowledge sims 5 commands a day! So Elvis is busy catching up on his homework so he at least has the scholarship for good grades. The only other scholarship he is close to qualifying for is the one for Art. He has ZERO skills every where else. Gah.
It's gonna be a while before I can get him out of the house, too.
In the meantime, I just get to sit around and wait for them to grow up. Or die. That gets them out of the house, too, I guess.
Anyway, this particular ghost scare started a domino effect that would make things just a little more miserable for me for a few days...
After Grandpa Bodean scared Elmer the first time, Elmer had a fear of seeing another ghost. So of course Bodean had to scare him again! This sent Elmer's aspiration to the very BOTTOM of the red end. If he was an adult that would result in the Therapist. No Therapist for teens! He pretty much went to bed right after this, so I thought maybe teens just don't get any worse than they already are if they are in the red.
That night everyone's sleep was cut short because Enolia had her baby...
A boy with black hair. I named him Rebel.
Enolia put him on the floor and...
Got the ever-lovin snot smacked out of her by Elmer!! :O Theyhave had a 100/100 relationship, too! I was all kinds of "what the hell!" then I realized it must be what teens do when they get that low in the red. D: I have never had this happen before.
And just like that they are both furious at each other and well into the slap-and-poke range, which leads to the mortal enemy range...
Normally I wouldn't intervene, but this is my HEIR and I can't risk her running away! So Eric spent the rest of the night constantly influencing Enolia and Temper-Tantrum-Elmer to do random pointless crap that kept them busy and away from each other.
Which is way more clicking than I like! D:
OH, and I figured since Elvis is a knowledge sim I'd have him stargaze at night to get enough logic for that particular scholarship. Now his sleep schedule has him going straight to bed after school and I send him straight to the telescope when he wakes up.
It's Friday and I'm looking at a house full of teens who are all in the red and none of them have wants that can be fulfilled by having one of the controllable adults interact with them.
Everett there just wants to hire Brooke, get random scholarships, and play Marco Polo. None of that's happening! D:
Bright and early Saturday morning I sent Edna to the community pool and she drags all the kids along with her. I'm hoping a change of scenery will get them some different Wants she can help fulfill.
You think they want to play Marco Polo now? NO, now they all want to buy electronics and go on vacation. Guh.
GAH! Now Elmer is attacking Everett! They've been BFFs since Elmer was a toddler!
This is not the "healing" family adventure I was imagining...
Next he tries to smack that grin off of Ellie's face and now ALL of his siblings can't stand him. Great.
A trip to the pool was an awesome idea, Fuzzy. BRILLIANT. e__e
I had Edna do the only thing I could think of right then in order to get them all to sit and talk amiably.
And when this Evil Witch showed up, I could have kissed her! BECAUSE...
Elmer wanted to see rain! He's still in the red but at least he is out of that "slap and poke" range.
GAWD. Time to just freakin go home.
Yay! One day warning! Time for Rebel to have his cake...
He looks very much like his dad...
With the exception of having Enolia's tiny nose and pancake-flat forehead. At least he has a chin!
For an entire day this is all Enolia did. She would go kick over the garbage bin...
Then immediately pick up the garbage and take it inside and put it in the kitchen bin. Then realizing the kitchen bin was full she'd collect the garbage and bring it outside; upright the outside bin and put the garbage in it.
Then she'd freak out and kick it over again. Then pick up the garbage and repeat the whole process! Over and over and OVER! Only when she got too tired or too hungry did she break that loop. It was the most insane thing I've ever seen.
Anyway, FINALLY it's Everett and Ellie's last day as teens! I was glad to see Everett actually gain a little AP! He's just barely into the green but that should be enough to avoid the Therapist.
A few minutes before 6 PM Ellie went to bed and Everett got in the hot tub.
Then hours went by...
Sometime around 10 o'clock, Ellie was about to give Rebel a bath when she got the urge to grow up...
Complete with a Therapist visit.
I decided to wait until Everett grew up too so I could move them out together...
But he wasn't showing any sign of leaving the hot tub! And with a yard full of ghost dogs I wasn't confident he was going to make it to his birthday alive because by now his hunger bar is way on down there.
He did finally get out of the hot tub without dying, but...
He went to bed instead! At six in the morning he was still a teen and on the verge of keeling over from starvation...
He woke up and went straight to the food. You can see how low his hunger is, and that's after he already got several mouthfuls in!
FINALLY. This was about 10 minutes before the school bus was due to show up.
(Elvis is trying to get yesterday's homework done since he spent all night at the telescope.)
Everett even managed to grow up well!
He and Ellie moved out after the other kids had left for school.
It's Rebel's birthday, but he's passed out on the back porch of the second trailer that remains locked so they can't get to the kitchen and bathroom in there. Enolia must have forgot it was locked, because she hauled him all the way over there when he was DEAD TIRED in order to bathe him in that tub, despite having to walk past TWO other tubs to get there.
And she finds it hilarious that he's passed out now! She didn't find it so hilarious when she realized she was now trapped on that one-tile-wide porch, with Rebel blocking the steps. I had to unlock the trailer doors so she could get through to the main trailer after Edna called her over.
That pink arrow on the far left shows where Rebel is. I had to put a light over there just to see him.
After a couple of hours I was able to get him to wake up, so he could finally have his birthday!
Thank goodness. Now he can bathe himself. e__e
And because I forgot to show his personality earlier... The first finger-gunner I've had this challenge!
SO, it turns out Elvis is the slowest learner EVER. D: It takes him all of one night and half of the next to get ONE logic point! He's still 3 points away from a scholarship and at this rate Enolia will be an adult and the challenge will be over before he has enough scholarships to go to college.

That afternoon Marcel got off the bus with them again. Instead of going to bed like he usually does, Elvis had to tell Marcel a dirty joke instead...
Which led to him finally getting that first kiss! With absolutely no AP for it, but at this point that's not the point. I guess.
I was expecting more romance after this, but...
Arcadia got Elvis to join her in the Slap Dance. Gawd.
While Enolia got Marcel to join her in the bedroom! D: GAWD.
However, I am glad to announce that this was not a Try for Baby or a Risky pregnancy or anything traumatic that would have resulted in me becoming alcohol dependent from the stress. THANK PLUMBBOB.
"Hello? I'm not exactly sure why I felt compelled to run out here to the graveyard dressed in a white ape costume, but now the gate seems to be missing and I can't leave!"
Sorry, Eric. I can't say I liked you much, but at least you made things a lot more interesting. If in a trashy kind of way...
Speaking of Trashy; Arcadia uses the family's moment of grief as an opportunity to snag a couple of gnomes. e__e

At this point I had a dreadful thought... with InTeen, can teen boys get alien pregnant? D: Of course that's not an issue this time since Elvis is too closely related to the Pollination Tech, but that would be beneficial to know.
Elvis got up from the curb and immediately went out to retrieve a couple of gnomes that Arcadia had stolen earlier.
Every time - every single time I tell Elvis to call college he looks right at me like that! D:
IT CREEPS ME OUT, MAN
At least this time he gets that final scholarship he needs to move out! Of course it's now the last day of the challenge because Enolia (and Elmer) are due to grow up in about 16 hours.
Enolia and Elmer spent the rest of the night taking turns giving Elvis noogies.
At 6 AM I had him call and move to college... and he looks like he's not regretting it at all. o_O
There's only a few ways Enolia knows how to show motherly affection... Okay, there's only one way.
With the kids at school for the last time, I got busy spending the 5200 simoleons that Eric left to the household. They got another truck, another junker, and a pinball machine. The bills got paid.
There was a few hundred left, so Edna planted the garden for the first time since last generation.
Since they spent all night tormenting Elvis, Elmer and Enolia went straight to bed after school.
And I was left to watch Edna and Rebel entertain themselves for the next several hours...
At around 7 PM Enolia got up and started her wiggle...
As expected, she didn't exactly grow up "well"... BUT!
This photo represents the end of the challenge! Kind of appropriate, I guess. o__o
It's over, but I can't stand leaving unfinished business! So I decided to wait until her twin aged up too before I officially called it quits.
Elmer soon woke up and proceeded to make his bed.
Then he acknowledged his sister's presence...
Then he cleaned the toilets...
Then he made all the other beds!
THEN he spent an hour playing with Edna!
At this point I sent Enolia over to distract Edna so maybe Elmer would feel compelled to grow-the-hell-up so I can finally leave!
WHEW.
And that's it!
I'll have to go back through my old updates to figure out what my score is, because I lost my notes. D: Though I do know that in the end they ended up with 208 simoleons, 27 pay-off gnomes, 2 living dogs (8 not-living dogs), 5 trucks, 4 junkers, and a whole freakin lot of good ol' fashioned screwed-up family values.
