It's done!  *\o/*

Not that this is the most important thing in the world, but I got through all 26 pregnancies (and impregnations) and it's freakin DONE.  Here's a very fast look at those last 3 kids...

---------------------------------------------------------

However, we'll start with a reminder of who is living in the house at the moment.  They aren't going to get a lot of facetime, but I got into the habit of doing this...

Sweet Pea is the daughter of one of the Ninjas from Takemizu Village.  Trillium is the son of Mr. Big (can you tell?).

Then there's Ursinia.  Her father is Kennedy Cox, the Townie.

Violet's father is mailman Pao Mellon.

And poor unfortunate Wolfsbane was fathered by the Therapist.

The mommy is Brigit, and her longtime spouse is Chase.  I suppose after all this time he's just sort of gone blind to the fact he's had to raise 20+ kids who look nothing like him...

Anyway, when I left off Brigit had just become pregnant again (surprise!).  This time by the Grim Reaper...

"So when do you think you might have that baby?"

"Oh... RIGHT NOW."

Black hair, light blue eyes, and skintone 2.  And this is the one kid who I know EXACTLY what he's going to look like when he's grown.  It is a boy, and since we are on letter X, he gets to be named Xenox.  After a shrubby plant (often called sedum xenox) that has color changing leaves.  And blooms, of course.

Chase was off to work in the morning, and Brigit was back to work as well.  We finally settled on a headmaster to use, and BJ is the one who got the lucky phone call...

Lullaby on the first go!  Good thing, too, because Brigit was up most of the night with the new baby and promptly fell asleep.  Since she's the only one in the house, besides the baby and the butler, the game lurched into speed 3 and I thought BJ had left...

Apparently not...  Oops.  Sorry BJ!

But no time for mourning, we've got BIRTHDAYS AND CRAP to worry about.  This is Ursinia, Kennedy Cox's daughter...

And she looks a lot like him!  But... prettier.  (This is the finger-gunniest, chess-cheating'est bunch.)

I guess I've stopped mentioning the Aspirations the teens roll.  It just stopped seeming like it was important, since I won't be playing this 'hood after I'm done...

And before you know it, it's time for the perfect little Reaper Boy to age up...

Gosh, Xenox got a terribly sweet personality.  Hopefully his spooky parentage will keep his older, one-nice-point siblings from messing with him...

BUT, it's time for one older sibling to get the hell out of the house.  Sweet Pea's father is one of the Ninjas, remember....

There he is!  :D

I wonder if his presence influenced Sweet Pea's clothing choice.

Back at the Baby Ranch, Brigit is having a really tough time with baby Y.  She fell asleep standing up near the back door.  Something Violet finds endlessly hilarious.  She laughed for hours!  Wolfsbane made worry hands, but you would expect the offspring of the Therapist to be more sensitive to the plight of others.

Fortunately pregnancies don't last very long, and BJ's posthumous offspring enters their world...

Sigh.  This was my last effort to get skintone 4.  But look, he's got blond hair!  BJ's a blondie, then.  Anyway, it's another boy (ugh, so hard to find boy-sounding flower names! not to mention how hard it is to find flower names this late in the alphabet) so I named him Yarrow.  Which I didn't know existed until I went looking for Y-named flowering plants.  I guess it's considered an herb, with it's bazillion medicinal uses.  One of which being able to staunch the flow of blood.  So it's also known as nosebleed plant.  Lovely.

Six PM always brings a birthday, it seems.  This time it's Violet, Pao's pretty and mean daughter...

And here she is!  If I remember right, she rolled Family with Fortune secondary.  She looks the sort to marry a rich doctor, have exactly 3 kids (since she wants them all to graduate from college) and head all the neighborhood committees with a beautiful iron fist (one nice point, right).

And Chase, bless him, tops his ninth career.  I think there might be just enough time for him to squeeze in one more!

Speaking of careers, Brigit managed to sneak off to work today.  She's had the same job since she graduated (The Law) but being pregnant all the time means she's always on maternity leave.  But she's home now, and just in time for Yarrow's toddler birthday...

Wow, BJ must have more nice points than the other headmasters.  Yarrow looks exactly like his dad.  (This is a recurring trend and it amazes me, out of all these kids so few are actually a decent MIX of genetics, but are just flat out clones of the father.)   Speaking of clones...

UH.  Oops.  This is the FIRST TIME over the course of this challenge that I didn't get one of the toddler skills done.  I guess Xenox will have to play the strong silent type later.  Talking is overrated anyway!

But he's as cute as any Reaper kid!  (Since they are all identical anyway.)  This is also when Xenox's love of wearing pink starts...

Even his outerwear.

Anyway, Brigit has been not-pregnant for several days now, and I think it's high time we got the last baby done.

So, to get him out of the house, Chase takes a job that starts that morning.  A career he hasn't done yet.  This one might suit him the best out of all of them!  :D

When I started this challenge I knew exactly who was going to be Baby Daddy Z...

It's CSquared's simself.  Chris here is the depraved mind who came up with the rules for this particular challenge, so it made sense that he should also be one of the genetic donors.

And we got a lullaby in ONE TRY.  Way to go Chris!  Random Townie Walk-by Guy is also impressed.

With baby Z on the way, it's time to start clearing out the house.  Starting with Trillium...

And of course Dad was there to see him to his dorm!  :D

Time for this sweet, unfortunate kid to become a sweet, unfortunate teen...

Well... he likes blue.

I wondered if glasses would help any.  They sure don't help him see why his sister Ursinia wins every game.

Notice toddler Yarrow in the background.  He's in the Grow Up stance...

I paid attention to this one!  He got all the skills...

And grew up looking like a pale version of his father, BJ Ryan.

So in this photo are kids U, V, W, X, and Y.  Baby Z is on the way, so kid U needs to hit the pavement...

Which is of course Ursinia....

And Kennedy escorts her to her dorm!  I love that she grew up color-coordinated with her dad.

Ursinia being gone doesn't mean Wolfsbane can see any better.  Since Violet has taken Ursinia's place across the chess table from him...

Baby Z is calling!

Guess what.  For some reason I only have TWO pictures of Baby Z.  This one, and....

This one.  o__O  I guess I was asleep at my desk during those three infant days.  (Which has happened before, so I'm not gonna rule that out...)

Anyway, I should mention baby Z is a boy.  Dammit.  Because I was all ready to type in "Zinnia" as a girl's name!  So I had to go Googling all over the freakin botanical world to find an even vaguely male sounding Z name that also represents a flowering plant or tree of some kind.

I settled on Zigadenus.  But I'll just call him Ziggy to make it easier on us all.

Holy crap, he's a mean Virgo!  o__o  He's also got a decent mix of Brigit and his simself daddy, Chris.  Inheriting Chris's brown hair, custom eye color, and the wee button nose.

LOOK WHAT HAPPENED!  I've never  -in all this time playing with Freetime installed - gotten a Genie lamp delivered at the same house twice!  Granted, the first lamp was delivered decades ago.  But still... this is big news in my Sim World.  Feel the awe for me, please.

Anyway....

Time for Xenox, the silent son of Grim, to finally become a perfectly proportioned face 2 teen...

He STILL likes pink.

And I actually remember what Aspiration he got: Knowledge.  With Romance secondary.  He'll be that totally hawt college professor all the girls have a crush on...

Xenox seems a wee bit temperamental about the Headmaster being there for his little brother's birthday.  o_o

Korey is here because it's time for Ziggy to become a kid, and to get the last batch of them into private school.

So except for Xenox (who learned two), I managed to teach 26 out of 27 toddlers all three toddler skills.

That adds up to 80... EIGHTY TIMES I shoved smart milk down some kid's throat and forced someone to teach them a skill.

Ziggy grew up well, and headmaster Korey was well impressed.

All of Korey's visits are weird.  This time he refused any and all schmoozing.  I don't like him!

But that's the last 3 kids.  All 27 of them made it into private school.

I let Brigit go to work again.  This will probably be her last time, because she and Chase haven't had any Cowplant milk or Elixir in a while...

With all the kids at school and Brigit at work, that left Chase in the house all alone for the first time EVER.  I'd personally count this as a small reward for enduring all those years of there constantly being kids and toddlers underfoot, but his 10 outgoing points would beg to differ...

That's great, Chase.  *rollseyes*

After the kids got home I decided it was time for Violet (being the oldest) to head off to college...

And I forgot to turn on the special events camera!  Meh.  Well, we'll just assume Pao was there.

(Love the outfit, Vi! ...oy)

Next out the door was Wolfsbane.  This time I definitely remembered to turn on the special events camera, because no way was I going to miss the chance to see the Therapist escort his son to college!

....  Notice anything missing?

Yeah.  This was bad.  Let me just say now - pay attention, this is important! - if you send a sim to college who is the offspring of either the Therapist or the Grim Reaper, turn off the special events camera!  The cut scene is actually playing out in the game, and when the game tries to send one of those Sims (who are only meant to show up during specific events and not be interacted with) bad things happen.  Basically what happened this time was Wolfsbane was there at college, still a teen, walking around and talking to people, eating mac and cheese, and I had no UI display and no way to control him.  It's like the dorm was caught in a permanent cut scene.  All I could do was watch.  And it required actually restarting my computer to quit the game at that point.

This also happened with Xenox, as I mentioned, because the game tried to send Grim to see him off.  This time though it messed things up even worse, and the dorm became glitched all to hell.  I did manage to get them out of the dorm and grown to YA, so the sims themselves are okay.  But I'm just glad I won't be using this 'hood anymore!  Gosh only knows what kind of domino effect has been unleashed.

Anyway!  Back at the challenge house...

Chase The Awesome topped his tenth career.

Yarrow became a teen.

And for the first time in AGES, my simself walked past the lot!  Brigit had to greet her mother, of course.  Especially today!  Because something monumental is about to happen....

No, I didn't kiss him.  Though it kinda looks like that's what happened and I immediately regretted it!  (I can't say that's never happened in real life... Don't drink and snog, kids.)

Chase decides to age up classy.

Maybe Brigit will do as well...

Well.  She coordinates with Chase, anyway.

Silent Xenox is unable to voice his opinion, of course...

But I'd say he approves.  Don't you, Xenox?  Yep.

Brigit immediately retires from her job.  I would like to point out that she managed to rack up 51 vacation days!

And now for this challenge to officially end!  Ziggy, the last of the kids, is twirling into teen'hood...

And there you have it.  DONE.  I have no idea what my score is, and I'll probably never know because I'm way too weary to go find the rules again.  If any of you are bored, be my guest.  Let me know how I did.
;D

In conclusion...

My personal little project for this challenge - aka, the Wall O' Kids is finally complete.  And just to keep you scrolling for a few minutes more, here's all of them from A to Z:
