This is the residential version of a community lot I made for the Sims Community Project on Tumblr: Lot #48, Darling Academy of Fine Arts.

Darling Estate Manor is on a 3x3 lot, and man that sucker pretty much fills it up. It comes furnished and decorated, so it's gonna set your Sim back about 364K. Expect the bills to run about 1700-1800 simoleons.

This lot contains NO CC. It's all Maxis, baby! It was built using the Ultimate Collection (i.e. every EP and SP). Packaged with the Clean Installer so you shouldn't have any problems other than stuff missing from EPs you don't have.

--------

Rear view. There is an indoor pool and a rooftop green house. Using the move_objects cheat will allow you to put actual garden plants in there as well as fruit trees.

First Floor:

This is the dining room.

This is. um. The parlor, maybe? There's a bar and a piano.

The kitchen has a small "servant's room" that would be suitable for a live-in cook or a Servo, I guess.

The swimming pool area.

Workout room...

There's a home theater, too. It's really cool, but Sims will only sit in the first row of chairs to watch the TV. I guess they can't see it from that raised stage despite it being part of the same room.  e__e  Don't worry, they'll end up Smustling up there at some point so it's not totally wasted space. :P

Second Floor:

The library. In this area there are balconies that overlook the dining room and the parlor.

Game area...

There are also two large bedrooms on this floor with en suite baths (one has a walk-in closet).

(I spent like 10 hours decorating this house, you all.) D:

Third Floor:

The top level has a nursery, a kids' room, and a bathroom.

I play-tested this for a while (because the Goodies came into some unexpected cash while in the Sim Bin), and I didn't encounter any weirdness other than Sims wanting to take the long way out of the kitchen despite a door being right next to them (so basically, normal). It is big, and with the pool, the greenhouse, and multiple mirrors you might encounter lag if your processor or graphics card are not up to spec. Mine are both pretty old and it ran smoothly for me with everything set to high (and shadows at medium).

Nabbed! It's going to be perfect for one of my sims down the road I am sure. Looks gorgeous Fuzzy! (I love the community lot version as well.)

FUZZY!! Happy Tenth Anniversary Sims 2!

Great lot, I love the indoor swimming pool. The Goodies are such great testers I abuse err use them all the time! I needed a Mayors house for my other hood and my own is a bit too small, this will work great.

Lol, I'm all hyped up coming from Jessa's Let's Play.
