Bookstore Signs

I've been sitting on these graphics for a couple of months, so I decided to recolor some Maxis retail signs tonight.  Someone requested bookstore signs at some point, and I thought it was a great idea.  Now your sims can open their own "Boundries" bookstore.

"Stalls and Royals"?!





Seven (SEVEN) different ceiling-hung banners to help customers easily spot the area of the store where they can find the genre of book they are looking for.  These are all found in the catalog under "Mr. Generic's Sign - The Ceiling Model".   All are in Simlish, and they read as follows:








All the pictures come directly from the covers of the in-game books.  Well, except for the Reference sign.  The regular study book has a pretty boring cover, so I snazzed it up a bit.

There's outside signs, too!

Starting with the wall sign...




Lovingly recolored (careful, that paint's still wet) version of the "Super Signguy Retail Sign" to let your Sims know THIS is the place in town for all their bibliophilic needs.

But wait, there's more...

A spiffy sidewalk sign, too!




It's "Mr. Generic's Sign - The Floor Model" re-imagined.  Because sometimes things go on sale.  :P

These will definitely require Open For Business to work in your game.  And I might add to this collection later, as I have loads more ideas for this theme.  :)

Thanks Esme! :D Yeah, I think they will work for libraries, too. I've always wanted to own a little used book store / coffee shop in real life, and now I can't stop thinking about bookstore decor for the sims. Heh.

Well that's going to have to wait on my part because my computer seems to think that death throes are fun things to throw at me. Once I a)get a new computer or b)somehow get all this computers problems fixed I'll definitely be opening plenty of bookstores/cofee shops/libraries. :)
