Anyone remember Who's Your Daddy?

This is probably the last thing I need to be doing right now with all the things I need to be doing right now! But I was looking in my game folder and realized I won't be able to play this neighborhood after I reinstall the game and I can't stand to leave anything unfinished. And no way am I willing to rebuild this whole family just to do the last 3 pregnancies!

I started this challenge mostly as a genetic experiment, and I basically just wanted a variety of born-in faces for future use. I did get into the documenting process, because I can't seem to help that for some reason. If you want to catch up, the first 18 or so illegitimate children can be found here. Here's a rather condensed and fast paced update to get everything up-to-date so I can get those last 3 babies born!

Jasmine | by | Llama Mascot, Payton Taylor |
Kaffir Lily | by | NPC Bartender, Alvin Wong |
Lupine | by | Witch Doctor, on Twikkii Island |
Mulberry | by | Matchmaker Date, Cooper Seifert |
Nigella | by | Repo Man, "Sunshine" |
Orchid+Oleander | by | College Student, Kevin Beare |
Periwinkle | by | Genie, from the Lamp |

Ruellia | by | Alien, Zenith Pitts |
Sweet Pea | by | Ninja, from Takemizu Village |
Baby T | by | Mr. Big, Abhijeet London |
--------------------------------------------------------------------
The kids are named alphabetically after flowing plants and trees (in case that wasn't obvious). Of course many of them are not actually living in the house anymore, but here's a quick look at the current residents (not that it matters, becasue they won't be sticking around long enough to get to know very well) ...starting with the kids...

Periwinkle is the eldest and the son of the Genie Of The Lamp. Queenie is next and the unholy offspring of my Baby Mommy and Mrs. Crumplebottom.

Ruellia is the daughter of an alien (Zenith Pitts, who was the result of Ashley Pitts being abducted), and finally Sweet Pea who's father is a nameless Ninja from Takemizu Village.

And finally the mother of all these kids, Brigit, and her clueless husband, Chase.
SO, we begin this update with a series of events that seem to happen CONSTANTLY in this household... birthdays and headmaster visits.

Starting with Queen Anne Lace becoming a teen. Keep in mind this child's second genetic donor is Mrs. Crumplebottom...

She's not unattractive! And, frankly, I see nothing of Mrs. C in that face, and nothing of Brigit either. I'm guessing Crumplebutt is a product of post-creation plastic surgery to make her more prudish looking. Anyway...

The toddler in the house, Sweet Pea, is about to become a kid so I've got to show the customary "Learned All Toddler Skills" photo for her. Not that there's points for that or that I'm keeping score! Hell, I don't even remember what the RULES are after all this time...

And this usually happens during a Headmaster Visit so I can get them into private school as soon as they age up.

Queenie was plenty happy about it. BJ's looking kinda pleased himself. His creepy smile might have something to do with Brigit's extra bit of "special schmoozing" and he might know he's due for a phone call from her some day...
Speaking of "special schmoozing"...

Pao happened to deliver the mail on the same day Brigit is due to have that baby. They've been friends since baby D, and I was hoping this would be timed right so Brigit could pop out this one then turn right around and use Pao as the next daddy...

Unfortunately there was no option to get him into the sack with her (must be some kind of postal union rules or something) so she'll have to call him back later. Chase is due home any minute anyway...

In the meantime, they now have a baby boy in the house who inherited Mr. Big's black hair and dark blue eyes. Keeping with the naming theme, this little guy is called Trillium, after a genus of perennials native to the temperate region of North America and Asia. Interesting bit of trivia: their seeds are only spread by ants... hm. This makes me wonder how endowed Mr. "Big" actually is. >_>
(Close your mouth! You knew what you were gonna get here.)

ANYWAY. Sure enough, Chase arrived home soon after having topped his, uh, seventh career I think. But Brigit is currently not pregnant, and he's got way too many days off! So he grabbed the first job online that starts that evening.
You almost can't see, but behind Chase is "a friend" he brought home from work about to get out of the car...

Kennedy Cox. He was going to end up like all the other "work friends" do (as Cowplant food) but he was VERY receptive to Brigit's charms so I've decided he gets to be the next Baby Daddy. As soon as Chase leaves with the carpool in an hour...

The photobooth makes things easier when they aren't in love yet. I say "easier" but this time it didn't result in a lullaby! Nor did the next THREE times I had them "try for baby"! Gah. Maybe it's something about the logistics of this....

We'll try it this way. (You know just what to say to guy, don't you Brigit. *rolleyes*)
Lucky for us it worked the first try.

Pretty soon we have a 6 PM double birthday to attend. This time Ruellia becomes a teen and baby Trillium gets to have a personality...

I see someone who is going to look and act an awful lot like his famous daddy.

Eventually the oldest teen must move out to make room for more babies. I've gotten into the habit of turning on the special events camera when I move them into a dorm at Sim State U, just to see if their estranged fathers show up....

So far, I have NOT been disappointed! :D

Back at the ranch, things progress as usual.

Chase doesn't even seem to be phased by this anymore...
Anyway, as he leaves for work, Kennedy Cox's daughter enters their lives. She's got his black hair and brown eyes. I named her Ursinia, after a genus of plants in the daisy family.
A couple of hours later:

We see a trio of onlookers at the Corner Shops downtown, who seem to be experiencing emotions ranging from disgust to mortification to delight. What is this about?

It's about Brigit trying to get baby V under her belt. By the time Pao showed up at the house, Chase was about to arrive back home, so Brigit asked Pao to come downtown with her. And if Kennedy taught me anything, it's that some guys just can't seem to accomplish the task at hand in the confines of a photobooth...

THREE TRIES LATER.
The pink-haired chick in the background is Buttercup, Brigit's oldest daughter. That servo in the foreground... is Buttercup's father. >_>
This is a very strange community.

Well, with Pao's bun finally in Birgit's oven, we can get on with home life. Starting with proof of Trillium's toddler skills. Which precedes his kid birthday...

He really needs a more appropriate Son-of-Mr.Big hairstyle, I think.

Life marches on. Bellies bump, A's are earned, and eventually it's time for another dose of Birthdays....

At this point I can't even remember who these infants are!

OH yeah. Kennedy Cox's daughter, Ursinia. She resembles him. A lot. And I assume she takes after him in the personality department as well. *sigh*

The next exploding transition belongs to Sweet Pea, the anonymous Ninja's daughter....

Who seems to have 90% of the Goopy face template, if I'm not mistaken.

I need a bit more room in the house, so it's Queenie's turn to move to college...

Where her "father" is there to see her to her dorm! :D

"Great job getting laid so much, mom!"
Most of the reason Queenie had to move out was because Periwinkle is grown up now and I need him to move back into the house. He's here for a specific reason....

Which MIGHT have something to do with his fear of having his photo taken....

"OH GOD the flashing and the whirring of the shutter!"
See, being a Knowledge sim, Peri wasn't entirely thrilled about having to drop out of college....

"I... can't help but feel that grilling hot dogs in the middle of the living room is a very bad idea. Yet I feel compelled to do it..."

"OH GOD the flaming and the charring of the frankfurters!"

Oh nuts, I didn't expect him to go completely loony so fast! The timing of this is crucial...

GAH! Give birth faster, Brigit!

OMG she JUST made it!

Baby W is on the way! :D Whew.
Anyway, Baby V is a little girl who has her daddy Pao's brown hair and dark blue eyes. I named her Violet, after, well, the flower of the same name.

Pao happened to be delivering the mail just as his daughter was born. I find this bittersweet for some reason...

Anyway! Now that Periwinkle's job is done, he gets to meet his father and take care of that "Make a Wish" want he rolled up the moment he arrived back home. There's one wish left on the lamp...

So Peri uses it to wish for Peace of Mind.

Then he moves out again, this time for good. Thanks for your help, Periwinkle!

Back to "normal"... I know I'm moving at a blistering pace here, but I've got a LOT to cover in a short time! So here's Kennedy's daughter, Ursinia learning her toddler skills....

And then leaping into kid'hood.
There's a cake on the table in the background because Chase is on his way with the infant, Violet. (These things always happen in pairs, it seems.)

*o__O*
Is mild-mannered Chase finally tired of seeing kids who don't look anything like him? Yikes.

And Violet makes the third kid in a row with a single nice point. This makes me realize what a freakin nasty bunch of sims all NPC's really are!

I should probably mention how often the kids who are already moved out walk past the lot. (This is Aster, the very first one! His dad is actually Chase, believe it or not.) I used to make someone greet them when I saw them walk by, but with Brigit's and Chase's growing dependence on Cowplant milk, I can't risk having one of them eaten!

So they tend to greet a LOT of random Townies. However, La Shawn here was not to be plant food today because there was already some grilled cheese sitting on the table, so she went straight for that instead.

She and Chase got along brilliantly, and quickly became best friends. (quickly = 8 or 10 hours... you know)

OH REALLY?! Chase's wife is RIGHT THERE, La Shawn! What the hell... If I didn't know better, I'd think she was trying to break up this happy marriage!
Well, there's only one thing to do...

Have Chase invite her to move it. :D

That night, while everyone else was sleeping, a staircase mysteriously appeared in the middle of the livening room! There's always been a basement (where I stash Chase's career rewards and all that random crap people roll wants to buy but there's no room for) but it has remained completely inaccessible. Until now....

And La Shawn is going to find herself inexplicably drawn to investigate what lies below....

No one will ever know where she went.

But she's happy enough fulfilling all those "Earn a Creativity Point" wants and boosting herself into Plat. There's a bed, and a toilet and a shower. Everything a sim could need!

Well... almost everything....

The next morning Brigit decides she is done gestating and it's time to bring the Therapist's child into the world...

It's a boy! He's got black hair and dark blue eyes, like his father I guess. I'm up to letter W, and it's getting harder and harder to find boy names in the flowering plants world! But this one got lucky (er, I guess) and gets to be named Wolfsbane. Wolf's Bane is a medicinal herb found in Europe.
Birgit got to spend nearly 12 whole hours NOT pregnant!

Because it took until that evening, before La Shawn finally succumbed to starvation....

And a lullaby sounded. Baby X is on the way!

The next day a few things happened... First Chase came home at the top of his eight career. (GO CHASE! <3 )
And that evening...

A Toddler Skills Triptych means it's time for a kid birthday...

Adorable little Violet (Pao's daughter) transitions simultaneously with Wolfsbane, who Chase is tossing...

Okay, if any of you have ever seen the results of breeding the Therapist before now... then you might know what's coming.
If not, then swallow all liquids....

.... I .... I actually feel kinda guilty for doing this. D:
And to top it off, the kid is going to be a creepy smiler, too.

ANYWAY. The next day Trillium (Mr. Big's son) transitions into his teen self.
And Ruellia moves to college. Who the hell is Ruellia, you ask? Yeah I know, I'm hardly giving these kids any face time...

She's Ashley Pitt's granddaughter. Since her father is Ashley's alien offspring. I was kinda disappointed to see Brigit was the one who came to Uni with her, but her dad is a playable so she can meet him any time.
The days sorta fly by at this point, and pretty soon it's time for another Headmaster visit...

Which only ever happens on days when the youngest is transitioning from toddler to kid...

This time it's poor unfortunate Wolfsbane...

"OH MY GOD! Just how many times DID you guys drop Wolfy on his face when he was a baby?!"
At least Ursinia knows it's not HIS fault he looks like that....

I was briefly distracted from the Headmaster visit (they were eating) by La Shawn's first haunt. I was afraid she'd make trouble for them, but it seems her ghost couldn't leave the basement. Hm. This might be a handy way to keep ghosts wrangled!
When I went back upstairs to see how the the dinner was going, I realized no one was sitting at the table anymore! Then I realized (as I smacked my forehead with an open palm) that Chase's ACR timer had gone off....

......

.... So where are our "Saw Sex Points"? HUH?
Pervert.

Well, that's it for now. At least that takes care of all the photos I had in the folder (and in reality, there's at least a hundred more but I left out all the "fun" stuff just to show the progress stuff), so now I can get those last three babies born and get this challenge off my conscience...
